🎓️️Prof. Shouling Ji

Changjiang Scholar

Zhejiang University, China

Shouling Ji is a Tenured Professor, Qiu Shi Distinguished Professor and PhD Supervisor at Zhejiang University, and serves as the Director of the Center for Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence. He earned his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a PhD in Computer Science from Georgia State University. He was selected as a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education (2022), a High-level Scientific and Technological Innovation Talent (2022), and a National Young Distinguished Expert (2017). He has received over 10 best/excellent paper awards, including the Outstanding Paper Award at IEEE S&P 2025 and the Best Paper Award at ACM CCS 2021 (the Big Four top conferences in network system security), a nomination for the Most Innovative Research Award at the Pwnie Awards (the global hacking conference), and was named an Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher. His other honors include the GSU Outstanding Research Award, Elsevier Highly Cited Paper Award, National Award for Outstanding Self-financed Chinese Students Studying Abroad, Zhejiang University Getui Young Innovation Award, Huawei Outstanding Technological Achievement Award, and Advanced Worker of Zhejiang University. Professor Ji’s research focuses on artificial intelligence security, software and system security, data-driven security, and big data analytics. He has presided over numerous projects, such as the National Key R&D Program of China, the Key Program and General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Outstanding Youth Fund of Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, the Key Special Project on Cyberspace Security of Zhejiang Provincial Key R&D Program, CCF-Tencent Rhino Bird Research Fund, CCF-NSFOCUS Kunpeng Research Fund, CCF-Venustech Hongyan Research Fund, and research funds from Huawei, Alibaba and Ant Group. As a technical lead or core member, he participated in 8 projects funded by the US National Science Foundation (NSF). He has published more than 100 CCF Class A academic papers and authored/edited 4 English monographs.

🎓️️Prof. Meng Shen

National-level Young Talent

Guangzhou University, China

MengShen, PhD, is a Professor and PhD Supervisor at the School of Cyberspace Security, Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). He is a national-level young talent, a recipient of the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund, and a Beijing Science and Technology Nova. He obtained his bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Technology and Finance from Shandong University in 2009, and his PhD in Computer Science and Technology from Tsinghua University in 2014. During his doctoral studies, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2012 to 2013. He joined the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology for teaching and research in July 2014. His main research areas are data security and blockchain security. He has published more than 60 academic papers in prestigious international journals and conferences, and holds over 20 authorized Chinese invention patents as the first inventor. He has won the Second Prize of Beijing Science and Technology Progress Award and the IEEE/ACM IWQoS Best Paper Award. Currently, he serves as a Standing Committee Member of the Internet Technical Committee of the China Computer Federation (CCF) and a Member of the CCF Blockchain Technical Committee. In 2025, he co-compiled the textbookIntroduction to Cyberspace Security and delivered a report entitledWebsite Fingerprinting Attacks in Anonymous Communication Networks.
